The NYAPRS Training Collective Creating Partnerships in Recovery
Our Recovery Educators/Consultants offer the most essential services and innovative insights for organizations and professionals supporting people with psychiatric disabilities.
|
The aim of the NYAPRS' Training and Technical Assistance services are to engage organizations and professionals in the discernment, valuing and practice of the principles of recovery and rehabilitation by creating a learning environment that challenges mind set, strengthens skills and builds a foundation for recovery through the partnering of practitioners and consumers.
We listen "to what people say are their organization's" most pressing challenges.
We help people to discover and build upon the strengths they already have and can count on when they most need them.
We seek to make and build upon trusting relationships that make room for honest, respectful feedback and planning.
Together, we set and achieve objectives that are meaningful and measurable to you, your organization and your funding and regulatory bodies.
Our educators speak from personal experience about recovery and recovery-centered approaches that work.
Framework
The NYAPRS Training Collective is funded by the New York State Office of Mental Health. We offer provider organizations the opportunity for collaborative training opportunities and resources with the aim of increasing workforce competencies that support people to achieve recovery outcomes.
