SS Work Incentive Demo Results via Dec 12 Webinar

NYAPRS Note: The following comes from NYAPRS’ Len Statham, who writes that “an important Social Security Work Incentive demonstration project has recently concluded.  The Benefit Offset National Demonstration (BOND) tested a design intended to encourage SSDI beneficiaries to work by replacing the so-called cash cliff with a ramp—a $1 reduction in benefits for every $2 of additional earnings. The implications of this project could lead to even greater work incentives for beneficiaries and allowing a greater number of individuals to gracefully exit Social Security.  Please join Mathematica’s Center for Studying Disability Policy for a webinar on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, from noon to 1:30 p.m. (ET) to find out how the rules tested under BOND affected employment, earnings, and DI benefits.”
